City Slam is back and the dunk phenom that is Guy Dupuy aka Mr ESPN aka The Frequent Flyer aka That French Guy Who Seems To Win Every Damn Dunk Contest is also back to defend his title.
On Saturday at Venice Beach, Dupuy impressed judges Nick Young and Julius Randle by beating a talented group of dunkers, including Michael Purdie, Sir Issac and Chris Staples to win another dunk contest. His two most talked about dunks from the contest were his windmill and then a between the legs dunk over a car. But for me, the most impressive dunk he pulled off (with ease) was a between the legs over a guy riding a bike towards him.
Stay tuned for more highlights from this summer’s City Slam events.
