Hakeem says Javale McGee “should dominate the league”

“He has tremendous talent. I give him all these moves and he can finish and he’s already skilled. So now just show him how to use that skill to (get) to the next level.” “That guy should dominate the league.

That’s what Hakeem told Fox26 of Houston when asked about how well Javale McGee was doing in Camp Hakeem – a class that Amare is also spending a car purchase amount to attend and lists Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard as alumni.  A lot of people might laugh at the thought because you are probably used to seeing the Homer Simpson moments on YouTube (there’s plenty too) but if you have had the opportunity to watch him play often or ever had him on a fantasy team you will know that he does go through stretches of a game where he is dominant or atleast puts up dominant center numbers.

Hakeem complimented Javale on how “agile” he is for being a 7 footer and is helping him utilize that combination of speed and height.

“The moves that we work on are not for a stiff big guy,” Olajuwon said. “With him he’s agile. The move flows. So I’m excited to see what he’s going to do this year.”

With the addition of Iggy to the poor man’s version of Cp3/Blake and McGee in the middle I’m expecting some real noise from the Nuggets next year and I don’t mean noise as in Javale getting yelled at for trying a free thrown line dunk in a game or running back on defense when the team still has the ball.
