The last time James Harden went to the Philippines to play against a PBA All-Star team, it was 2011 and he was far from the star that he is today. Most of the attention back then went to Kobe Bryant, Derrick Rose and then teammate Kevin Durant. But Harden is back in the Philippines this week for the the PLDTHome: The Last Home Stand All-Star Charity Games and he’s now one of the most popular headlines for the PLDT Fibr All Star team.
The All-Star team, coached by John Lucas, also features NBA Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard, Terrence Ross, DeMar DeRozan, Damian Lillard, Kyle Lowry and Brandon Jennings. But before they can put on a show in the All-Star game they had to make an awkward appearance on a local show. How awkward. Check out the video above.
