Despite having arguably the best dunk of the year, Harrison “Black Falcon” Barnes said he wasn’t invited to last years NBA dunk contest because he assumes “his resume” wasn’t impressive enough.  As silly as that sounds, thankfully it’s true because I would have hated to see another great dunker wasted in that disaster that was the 2013 NBA Dunk Contest.  ‘

The NBA is notorious for not inviting qualified dunkers that want to participate (like Russell Westbrook), so I wouldn’t be surprised if the NBA does overlook this qualified candidate or mess up the upcoming dunk contest in New Orleans even more by tweaking the rules and format again.

Hopefully the following video and pic will serve as a good enough resume and portfolio for the league. If not, then who the hell does Barnes have to connect with on LinkedIn or dunk on in a game to make it happen.
