How Does a 7’6 Player Get His Hook Shot Blocked | Surprising Blocks

Published on November 3rd, 2011 by Astramskas, David | 1,203 views

People always said Kareem’s skyhook was unblockable. Even Magic Johnson’s hook shot was thought to be unblockable. Part of the reason was their height and the rest had to do with where the shot is released in relation to the defender.  So how does a 7’6 player have a hook shot in his arsenal that can be blocked. Yes we are talking about Shawn Bradley.  Yes it was blocked by Shaq who always played extra hard and made an effort to make the dunking Mormon look as bad as he could

on the nightly Sportscenter recaps and yes Bradley is the same person who had his dunk blocked from behind by Earl Watson (below) but it just doesn’t seem right.

Below are some more surprising blocks that just shouldn’t of happened including Nate Robinson blocking Yao and Shaq, LeBron getting blocked by Mike Bibby and some chase down blocks by the best little man to ever do it, Darrell Armstrong
