Our man, Iman Shumpert, might have the best high top fade in New York since the Juice Crew days of Big Daddy Kane and skywalking days of the Knicks’ Kenny Walker. He might also be the best rapper in the league with rhymes that would make the King Asiatic Nobody’s Equal proud.
Last night in Game 2, Shump made NY proud by channeling Kenny Skywalker with an emphatic putback dunk – getting his hair above the rim and “Getting the Job Done” with 15 points on 7 of 11 shooting.
After “Warming it Up” and losing Game1, the Knicks were done “Half Steppin” now that “Smooth Operator” Melo and Shump have Knicks fans saying “Aint No Stoppin Us Now” and ready for “Another Victory” and that’s “Word to the Mother!”
If you don’t catch the Big Daddy Kane references then I suggest you delete your Chief Keef songs and replace them with some real hip hop classics. If you don’t remember Kenny Walker then watch the following.
