“WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS!? ISAIAH THOMAS GOT DEFENSE LIKE THAT?!”
You might have seen this hilarious video of an NBA Live 18 player going crazy after witnessing Isaiah Thomas get his head at the rim on a dunk rejection. Although I agree with him and the majority of the internet complaining about the unrealistic Gerald Green rim inspection by a player who has never dunked in a game, I’m going to have to disagree with people saying the Cavs new point guard would never be able to block a dunk.
Back in 2015, I witnessed first hand, the 5’9″ Thomas rejecting a dunk attempt by 6’8″ Trevor Ariza at the Drew League vs Seattle Pro-Am game. I also clearly remember watching Thomas reject a shot by the 6’11” Boogie Cousins and the 6’9″ boyfriend of Khloe Kardashian last year.
