Jahlil Okafor might not have been the #1 pick, or #2 pick, but at the end of the year he might be rewarded with the top rookie honor. After 10 games, Okafor was the first rookie since Shaq in 92 to have at least 192 points, 73 rebounds, 14 assists & 18 blocks. After 8 games, he was the first rookie since Grant Hill in 94 to average 20+ points and shoot 50+ fg%.

In the latest episode of Inside Stuff, Okafor sat down with Dennis Scott to talk about influential big men, getting double teamed in the NBA and where he hopes to be in Philly history when it’s all said and done – which is a long, long way from now.  So let’s just focus on that rookie of the year award first.
