Down goes Frazier! Down goes Frazier! Down goes Frazier!

So what’s up with the classic clip of George Foreman knocking down Joe Frazier? When I saw Isaiah Thomas break, and I mean literally break Tim Frazier’s ankles, the voice of Howard Cosell  saying “Down goes Frazier” was the first thing that popped in my head. My 2nd thought, after seeing Frazier on the ground, holding his ankles, was I hope nothing actually popped in Frazier ankles.

The Pelicans were already playing without AD (knee), Ryan Anderson (hernia), Tyreke (knee), EG, (finger), Jrue (orbital wall fracture) and Quincy (knee). The last thing they need is another player in street clothes on the bench.

Frazier did play well with 18 points and 6 dimes but it was Isaiah Thomas with the Ali worthy show. The 5 footer dropped 32 points in 33 minutes to give the Celtics their 3rd win in a row and 7th win in last 9 games.
