Isaiah Thomas is not Jeremy Lin. This is the not the Jeremy Lin story. Sacramento is not New York.  Spike Lee is not in the crowd. The Kings are 0-3 since Thomas has taken over as a starter.  With all that said, the 5-9 Thomas, no relation to the Pistons great of the same name, has played exceptionally well since becoming a starter and I bet you haven’t noticed.

After getting the boos from the NY/Linsanity crowd for stealing the ball and scoring with 1 second left when it didn’t matter, Thomas got his first start against the Pistons.  He scored 13 and had a mediocre game.  In his next game against the Cavs he played a career high 43 minutes and almost messed around and got a triple double with 23pts 11ast 8rebs and only 2 turnovers.  Last night against the heat he made 5 3 pointers and scored 20 points in the 3rd quarter.

You would think a rookie that was the last person picked in the NBA draft with a famous name would get some attention after putting together those 2 games.  Nope. Congrats Thomas on becoming a starter but playing for the Kings will get you treated like a peasant.
