You are only as good as your last game – Jabari Parker

In music and film that theory is true but in sports it’s often how well a good player rebounds from a bad game that determines the future and greatness of a player.  Jabari Parker led his Chicago public school Simeon Career Academy (28-3 overall) to an unprecedented four Illinois Class 4A championships and is the first player to earn the Mr. Basketball of Illinois award twice. He also recently won the Morgan Wootten national player of the year award and Gatorade’s Illinois player of the year.

With that resume, I’m expecting a bright future and greatness at Duke University and then the NBA level and this “Summer Grind” video by Duke Blue Planet has me really excited about witnessing it.
