The “RIP” acronym is used way too much nowadays when somebody gets dunked on but this dunk by Jabari Peters over Vernon Teel does deserve RIP consideration. My rationale is if the defender hits the floor and a meme can be created out of a still of the defender laying on the ground looking dead as Dillinger than it’s RIP worthy.

From The Basketball Diary
During game 2 of the best out of 3 series format ADC’s Jabari Peters who is heading to Sam Houston State University this fall throws down a ridiculous dunk on Vernon Teel of The Villains at East New York Memorial Classic better known as Gersh Park. Count the and 1. Put the defender in a body bag. The Villain however went on to win forcing an epic game 3 finals this week. Vernon Teel has to return the favor in game 3 or meet Jabari Peters next season.

Back to the RIP acronyms.  Hopefully nobody else was silly enough to see the god awful R.I.P.D in the theaters. Not even Marisa Miller can save that $130 million flop.
