After a disappointing first half for the Clippers, Chris Paul scored 14 of his 23 points in the 3rd quarter and then Jamal Crawford took over in the 4th scoring 14 of his 25 points in the final period of the Clippers win against the Pistons on Wednesday night.
Besides hitting clutch shots and making big assists in the 4th quarter, Crawford also came up with a big block on Caldwell-Pope and after the game talked about his defense.
“I’m just trying to be a better all-around player,” said Crawford.”Early in my career, I had the mentality that I could outscore everyone, but now I really take pride in my defense. If I’m not locked in, I get upset with myself.”
