I said it on draft night when the Nuggets drafted 19 year old Jamal Murray with the 7th pick; I said it when Murray scored 16 in a clutch performance against #2 pick Brandon Ingram and the Lakers; I said it a couple of times last week; And I shouted it on Sunday, when Jamal Murray scored 16 of his 18 points in the 4th quarter vs the Jazz: Why did the Pelicans draft Buddy Hield with the #6 pick instead of Murray?!

“Great to see Jamal Murray go off in the fourth quarter and make big shots,” Nuggets coach Michael Malone said. “Jamal, he continues to grow up in front of our eyes. When he gets confident and puts the ball up, I think it’s going in every time he shoots it.”

He was so hot in the 4th quarter, the Nuggets commentator even said, “Should I say the ‘C’ word.”

“It’s moments I’ve lived for all my life,” Murray said. “I got the opportunity to show what I have. I was feeling more comfortable. I’m not thinking about how bad I’m playing, how good I’m playing, I’m just trying to give good minutes.”
