“James is just a hell of a basketball player,” McHale said after the Rockets win over the Hornets. “I told him earlier in the year: `The best news that we had was that we were winning games and he wasn’t shooting particularly well.”

On the final night of 2014, Harden was shooting well – real well. He scored 36 points on 12 of 19 shooting in 33 minutes. 8 of those 12 field goals were 3-pointers.

“I felt real comfortable,” said Harden, who set a career-high with the 8 3-pointers. “My shot felt good the entire night and I had confidence to shoot it.”
