The Lakers’ Ryan Kelly was 2 years old when Hakeem Olajuwon was showing off his fancy footwork during the Clutch City years and once scored 37+ points in 3 consecutive games. I’m sure Ryan would have loved to have seen this but the city of Houston gave him the next best thing. They allowed him to see James Harden score 38, making him the first Rocket to score atleast 37 in 3 consecutive games since Hakeem in 94, and a very very up close look at some fancy footwork when Harden showed him the Eurostep move.
Harden also had a season high five steals to go with his 38 points and Harden stealing Kelly’s soul did not count as a steal.
