Points guard James Harden had his way with Derrick Rose’s Super Team during Tuesday’s 130-103 win for the Rockets. Harden finished with game-highs of 28 points and 11 assists to go with 6 boards in 30 minutes of action. He also shot 7 of 11 from the floor and “only” turned the ball over 5 times (remember, the Beard set NBA records for turnovers last year and since he’s going to be handling the ball more this season, we might end up with untouchable turnover records).
In 25 minutes, new Knicks point guard Rose made 7 of 14 shots and finished with 16 points and 5 assists. His team only shot 40% and missed 20 of 31 from downtown so Rose’s assists could have been a little higher if his teammates – with the exception of Porzingis – would have made some shots.
The other new Knicks point guard, Brandon Jennings, was 2 of 10 from the floor and finished with 7 points and 4 assists.
