James Harden finally got a MVP award! Well, the Beard did win the MVP award over Steph Curry at the 2015 1st Annual NBA Players awards, but nobody remembers the BET hosted event.
On Tuesday, NBATV and Shaquille O’Neal honored Harden with the 2016 Shaqtin’ a Fool MVP award. This puts Harden in an elite club with Kendrick Perkins, Otto Porter and 2 x winner JaVale McGee.
So what made the #2 scorer in the league so deserving of the award: his numerous appearances on the show for efforts on D and for setting the NBA record for most turnovers in a season.
- 10: 1 time (in just 35 minutes with only 3 assists)
- 9: 3 times
- 8: 5 times
- 7: 8 times
- 0: 1 time
That’s enough about Harden. Let’s check out a bunch of other awful plays from Shaqtin’ a Fool worthy nominees.
