Isaiah Stokes, the 6’8, 250 pound “little” brother of 6’6 NBA player & D-League MVP Jarnell Stokes, shut down a court at the Adidas Summer Championship in Vegas on Thursday for 3 hours by shattering the glass and breaking the rim with a 2-hand dunk.
“I had intentions to try and break it,” Stokes said to ESPN before heading to a hospital to get stitches in his hand. “But I didn’t think I’d be able to do it.”
The class of 2017 Stokes also told ESPN he plans on playing Friday despite the stitches and bandaged fingers.
Here’s a few pics and clips of the aftermath.
