The announcers of the Nets and Pistons game believe that Jason Kidd’s 4th quarter technical, for stepping out of the coaching box, was the first tech ever called on a head coach in the Summer League.  I wouldn’t bet money on that but I will bet that Mason Plumlee’s dunk from the game will create a little buzz today.

“It’s a lesson learned that I know I can’t go past half court, I’ve seen some of these coaches be all the way down on the other end. I can’t follow their lead in that aspect. I learned real quickly where the box is. I deserved a T.” said Kidd after the game.
