So how impressive was Boston Celtics’ rookie Jaylen Brown against the Cavs on Thursday night. With about a minute left in the first half of his first NBA start, the 20-year old went one-on-one with LeBron James, muscled past him and threw down a dunk Kevin Love wanted no part of. He went into the half outscoring the league MVP 9 to 6.

Brown was so impressive, the NBA even released a video of him grabbing a (absolutely ridiculous 1-hand) rebound over Kevin Love.

The #3 pick finished the game with 19 points (8-16 fg, 3-6 3pt), 5 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 assists, 1 block and a team-high +15 in plus/minus. He also received some praise from LeBron at the end of the game.

“He just said he’ll see me down the road. He said good job. And he said some other things I ain’t gonna mention.”
