Enter 6’8″ Frenchman Jaylen Hoard. Hoard is the son of a former college/pro player and possesses the skill to become an even better player than his father. Coming from France, our first look at him this year was at the UA Elite 24 where he showed he was capable of hanging with some of the nation’s top high school players. His shot extends out to the 3 point stripe, he’s able to put the ball on the floor, and very skilled when it comes to finishing around the rim and off the glass. Hoard is currently ranked 23rd in the 24/7 Composite Ranking and as high as 8th according to Evan Daniels of Scout.com. He currently has offers from California, OK State, Wake Forest, Washington, and interest from schools such as Arizona, Duke, and Kansas. Here is a 3 game mix from their games these past 4 days. Stay tuned as we’ll be providing coverage of Wesleyan Christian all season long.
