Jayson Tatum scored 21 points, grabbed 7 boards, outplayed Markelle Fultz and knocked down a game-winner in his summer league debut. As an encore, the #3 pick scored a team-high 23 points on 10 of 18 shooting and grabbed a team-high 10 boards. Unfortunately for the Celtics, Tatum was the only Celtic that showed up in the 11-point loss.
The highlight of the highlights above was Tatum’s mom, who showed up, critiqued his game and talked about how she kept the ticket stubs to every one of his college games and events such as the NBA draft.
Before the game against the Spurs, Tatum was asked about his game and if it has shades of Kobe Bryant in it.
“Yeah, that’s my favorite player,” Replied Tatum. “He was, then I went to the Celtics.”
I wonder if this picture will keep Tatum a Kobe fan?
