Here’s a performance you probably didn’t hear about last night.  Jerami Grant of the 76ers blocked 8 shots (2 more than the entire Knicks team) in just 25 minutes.  The nicest of those blocks came courtesy of a dunk attempt by Tim Hardaway Jr.

What makes Grant’s performance so odd is that he’s been averaging over 22 minutes a game over his past 5 and he never had more than 1 block in any of those.  And the 4 points he scored against the Knicks is the lowest in those 5 games too.  Go figure but crazier things happen – like the Knicks winning 2 in a row!
