Call it revenge for the trash Scott Machado was talking during the Rockets summer league.  Jeremy Lin will say it was an accident when he called up Macado and said good bye and good luck in OKC when he meant to call Jeremy Lamb but I think it was a good Ashton Kutcher punk’ed move.

Here’s what Machado had to say about Lin during the summer.

“He’s shown what he could do, and like you said, I had a better college career than he did,”

“And he just got a chance to show what he can do. He’s more of a scorer, and I’m more of a real point guard. It would be fun for a while [backing Lin up], but I wouldn’t like it. I’d want to play. It’s a business and they’re going to do what they’re going to do.”

“I feel like I’m in the same situation he was last year,”

“He was undrafted, ended up with a bunch of teams and ended up with the Knicks, and he ended up doing a good job with the Knicks. Now, he got a big contract and he’s an excellent player. I feel like he has a lot of talent, and he came from an underrated school, and he was able to show his talent. So I feel I’ll be able to do that as well.”

“I feel like Jeremy Lin is a good player – nothing against his game – but I want to show my talent and be able to play there as well,”

“If I have to sit behind him for a little while then that’s fine, but hopefully one day I’ll be starting for an NBA team.”
