After scoring 33 on the Pelicans, Most improved player candidate Jimmy Butler is now averaging 8.9 more points than last season and is just 1 of 4 players in the league averaging 22 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. The other 3 are All-Stars James Harden, Blake Griffin and Carmelo Anthony.
Butler didn’t reach the 6 rebounds or 3 assists last night but he did do a little of everything including especially on the defensive end where he got 2 steals, 1 block and even guarded Anthony Davis for a bit.
Derrick Rose chipped in with 19 points to give the Bulls their 6th win in a row.
