With 53 seconds left in regulation, Jimmy Butler hit a 18-footer to give the Bulls a two-point lead. Mike Conley responded with a clutch shot seconds later.
With 26 seconds left in regulation, Butler broke the tie again with another mid-range shot. Conley went for the kill but missed a three-point attempt.
After a pair of free-throws from Doug McBuckets, who had a career-high 31 off the bench, to give the Bulls a four-point lead, Butler dove on the floor and stole an inbound pass with five on the clock. Game over!
Before the clutch shots in the final minute, Butler struggled with his shot, making just 4 for 12 from the field, 1 for 5 from three and a shocking 3 for 7 from the free throw line. He still finished with 16 points, 8 boards, 6 assists and 3 steals and the Bulls are on a two-game win streak after dropping three in a row; Butler missed two of those games and was sick in the other.
