Although the Hawks destroyed the 76ers by 32 on Saturday, rookie Joel Embiid gave 76ers fans plenty to cheer about. The 7’0 rookie started the game off with a 3-pointer and finished with 14 points, 2 rebounds, 2 blocks and a steal in just 15 minutes. He was also 5 of 9 from the field and 3 of 4 from the line.

Dwight Howard was decent on the defensive end with 3 blocks and 7 boards but was just 1 of 4 from the field and never attempted a free throw in 19 minutes. 1 of his 3 field goal misses was a layup rejected by Embiid.
