John Wall scored 25 points and dished out 8 assists to help the Wizards beat the Spurs for the very first time in his career. The last time the Wizards beat the Spurs it was back in 2005.
“It’s finally good to win a game like this, against a top team,” said Wall who had a season-high 16 first half points.
Wall is having a terrific season and has been ending a lot of personal losing streaks. Earlier in the season he ended a 0-6 losing streak to Chris Paul and 0-5 streak against Derrick Rose.
