Remember when Sports Illustrated put John Wall at #31 in their Top 100 NBA players list and then tried to apologize to him? Wall replied with a “no need to be sorry, u made ur decision” tweet and  said nonsense like this would just give him “more motivation.”

That motivation and skills – worthy enough to place him in single digits on any list – was on full display against the Orlando Magic last night.  Wall dropped 30 points and 12 assists and punished rookie Elfrid Payton as if he was the writer at Sports Illustrated.

Payton finished with 2 points, 7 assists and 6 turnovers.
