The Wizards, who haven’t been to the playoffs since 2008, knocked off the Bulls 75-69 in Game 5 and are heading to the 2nd round to face the winner of the Hawks/Pacers series.

John Wall led all scorers in the game with 24 points (8 more than any Bull) and Nene chipped in with a huge 20 and 7.

“The main thing is to focus in and know what this team is capable of,” Wall said. “I just give a lot of credit to my teammates and the coaching staff and the great game plan and making adjustments and committing ourselves to play on every given night.”
