John Wall knows what he’s doing.  I don’t mean just on the court where he ranks among the most elite guards in the league and will one day be mentioned along the all-time greats but off the court too.

During last night’s All-Star game he gave a shout out to the State Farm Assist Team and asked if he could be down with their crew.  That request not only makes a lot of sense from a marketing concept standpoint but it might just make a lot of cents for Wall’s pocket in the near future.

In case you were wondering where does Wall rank in the assist department among the State Farm team: Wall is first in the league in assists while Chris Paul is 3rd, Curry is 5th and Damian Lillard is 14th.

C’mon Jake from State Farm, pick up the phone and call Wall.
