The NBA is bringing H-O-R-S-E back to All-Star weekend!  Well, kind of.

According to the official press release,

Steph Curry and John Wall will face off in a shot-for-shot competition and fans will help play a role in determining who is crowned the ‘Ultimate Game Changer,’ by voting on one of the shots the two All-Stars will attempt in the battle. Starting Monday, February 9 fans can vote at and tune in to NBA TV on February 14 to see which fan shot was selected. To take the crown, Curry and Wall also will have to make a variety of shots which will be unveiled at the start of the competition.

So basically it’s H-O-R-S-E with two of the best point guards in the league and without the worst trophy in NBA All-Star weekend history and Kevin Durant dominating the event by shooting 3-pointers.

Considering John Wall is a NBA dunk contest winner and Stephen Curry makes news when he hangs on the rim, I’m assuming there’s a no-dunk rule – although Wall did dunk in this challenge to Steph video.

I don’t think it would be fair if Wall was allowed to dunk but it’s All-Star weekend where unfair things happen: Dunk wheel anybody?

Anyways, enough of blasting the past. I’m really looking forward to seeing Curry and Wall go at it next month. I don’t know who to bet on but I know John Wall better start working on this hallway shot.
