John Wall went off and scored 17 points in the 3rd quarter as the Wizards gave LeBron, Kyrie Irving and the Cavs their 3rd loss in a row.
“I told him, man, when he gets going, he has to just keep going,” teammate Bradley Beal said. “He can’t stop.”
Wall couldn’t be stopped and finished the game with 28 points (12-20 fg), 7 assists, 6 rebounds and 4 steals in a game which Wall called a “statement” one.
Irving finished with 22 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal but was 7-16 from the field and a donut from downtown. LeBron also had 22 for the Cavs but missed 13 of his 21 shots.
“We’re a little bit in the dark,” Cavs Coach Blatt said, “and we’ve got to find our way out.”
