Remember the death stare Kobe gave Mike Brown. Well, John Wall delivered one of those to super agent David Falk who was in attendance for the Wizards/76ers game. Wall put on a nice show throughout which included a splitting of the D and 360 layup before the half and a dagger of a shot before the final buzzer. After that dagger to the Wiz is when he delivered the more painful looking stare at Falk.
The reason why he has a beef with the man that help make hundreds of millions for MJ, Ewing, Zo and even guys like Juwan Howard is an interview Falk did with The Washington Post and said.
“You guys are in dreamland. Because this team [stinks] so bad you guys want John Wall to be someone he will never be.”
“[…] Who’s bigger, Kyrie Irving or John Wall? John Wall. Who’s a better athlete? John Wall. Who’s faster? Who’s stronger? John Wall. Now, who’s a better player? Kyrie Irving. John Wall will never be good as Kyrie Irving was in his first week in the NBA.”
I’m not sure if John Wall will ever be the person that Falk thinks the Wizards want him to be and obviously he’s not Jordan but I know Wall is one of the most talented players in the league with the potential to be the type of player that Falk has made millions representing.
