Remember when John Wall tweeted “#31!! More Motivation, Love it…” after Sports Illustrated put him at #31 on their Top 100 NBA players list before the season started?

Well, it looks like that motivation is paying off because Wall was the leading vote getter among Easter Conference backcourt players with 886,368 votes – over 81k more votes than Kyle Lowry who was 2nd in votes – and is heading to New York next month to participate in the 2015 NBA All-Star game.

Last year’s All-Star weekend was a memorable one for Wall because he made his first All-Star team – as a reserve – and won the NBA dunk contest/exhibition/whatever it was. But I have this feeling, and I’m putting up my sneaker money, that Wall, in his special NYC All-Star Edition Adidas sneakers, will put up some big numbers in this years game and improve on his pretty impressive stat line from last year: 12 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and a steal in just 15 minutes.

So here’s a look back at my favorite moments from the former Rookie Challenge MVP and i’m looking forward to updating this playlist…and yes I have to show Greg Monroe’s steal.
