From one legend to another, Jordan brand has recently honored Kobe’s retirement with one hell of a gift. Two full set of custom Jordan’s 1-30. Both sets paying homage to Kobe’s reign as a Laker.
Primarily the III’s & VIII’s can be seen with hints of purple and gold in either a white or black silhouette. Kobe wore both sneakers during his 2003 sneaker free agency period. While Kobe will be keeping the white collection, the black set was auctioned off on Ebay for charity.
The black set was auctioned off for a winning bid of $240,100.00 USD. The proceeds will be split between the Jordan Wings Initiative and the KVBFF.
