If you were at Dyckman Park last night you were in a for a show by the one and only and we mean one and only JR Smith. He shut the park down with an off the glass dunk. Tyreke Evans also put the crowd into a frenzy with a 360 layup.
Here’s a recap of the game courtesy of A Royal Pain
The Harlem based ‘Skull Gang’ brought in Evans to bolster their arsenal and although it took double OT to do so, they came out victorious thanks to Evans’ team high 30 points in his Dyckman debut. Evans oddly struggled with his free throw shooting, but canned a crucial pair with just seconds remaining that brought the Skull Gang to within two. Evans promptly stole the inbound pass, knocking down the bucket to tie the game, sending the contest into its second OT.
Evans and crew squeaked out with four point win.
Skull Gang will take on the BK Stompers this Thursday with the victor moving onto the Championship game. No word on if Evans will continue to participate.
