In the 13 games of March, Julius Randle has 8 double-doubles and was just 1 or 2 boards away from having 3 more. No surprise, i’m expecting the Lakers rising star to average at least 18 and 12 after this season. What I was surprised about was Randle doubling his season-high of 5 assists from earlier in the week and recording his first career triple-double against the Nuggets on Saturday night.

The 13/18/10 performance by the 21 year old made him the youngest Lakers player with a triple-double since Magic Johnson (20 years old).

“I said it at the beginning of the year: He’s Lamar Odom in a Zach Randolph body,” said Bryant after the game.
