The one player I had in every one of my DraftKings and FanDuel line-ups on Sunday was Julius Randle. I just had a feeling his first NBA game against Dallas (his hometown) was going to be a beastly one – especially since he had an awful game (3pts & 2rebs) on Friday. I was right! Randle had 8 points and 8 rebounds in the opening quarter, a double double by half-time and finished the game with 22 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals, 1 block and 1 dunk on Dirk.  He even had fans chanting “We want Randle” when he took a breather in the 4th.

Unfortunately the Lakers did get the L but I got the W in all my head-to-head DFS games and a big reason for that was the bargain price on the beast that is Randle.

I’ve also had the pleasure of of watching a lot of Julius highlights since his high school days in Texas and all I can say is it’s only a matter of time until we start seeing NBA mixes of the 20 year old looking like these high school mixes of him.
