Mason Plumlee had 13 points on 5-of-7 shooting, 14 boards and 7 assists in the Nuggets 21-point win over the Lonzo-less Lakers on Wednesday. I’m assuming he’s happy about those numbers but wishes he had at least one block in the boxscore. And that block came midway through the third quarter, when Julius Randle dunked on him so hard, Plumlee’s teammates almost pulled a Hawks watching Larry Bird drop 60.
Kyle “I might be the best rookie on the Lakers” Kuzma thought dunking on Plumlee looked like so much fun, he tried to posterize the former dunk contest contestant a couple minutes later.
Plumlee wisely fouled Kuzma and avoided being in the following mix, which shows the 22-year old rookie scoring 21 points on 7-of-9 shooting and throwing down a nice baseline reverse that impressed Larry Nance Jr.
If you are a Blazers fan and/or enjoy watching Plumlee — Mason or his brother Miles — end up on a poster, then you might enjoy some of these clips.
