Karl-Anthony Towns put up a career-best 35 points (12-19 fg & 11-13 ft) to go with 11 boards in a win against the Raptors on Wednesday. The big numbers by KAT made him the first TWolves rookie since Christian Laetner in 1993 to put up a 35 & 10 game. The game also put him in the company of Shaq, KD, Melo, LeBron and Chris Webber as the only 19-20 year olds to have a 35 points, 10 boards and 3 blocks in a game.

When asked if his impressive production surprises him, Kat replied,

“I do surprise myself sometimes. Missing two free throws, missing open jump shots.”

Don’t be surprised to hear his name mentioned with Shaq, KD, LeBron and Webber again once the season is done.
