On Wednesday, Karl-Anthony Towns scored a career-high 47 points and became the youngest TWolve to record a 40-point game. 22 of the 47 came during a perfect 1st quarter, where the rookie of the year connected on all eight of his shots.

His final stat line of 47 points and 18 rebounds makes him just the 9th player in the past 30 years to have those type of numbers and only Shaq and Kevin Durant did it at a younger age.

Unfortunately for Towns, his career-night against Kristaps Porzingis was ruined by a game-winning shot by Carmelo Anthony.
