“I’d rather have him be a vocal leader than beat his chest, wiggle his shoulders & stare at the camera” said Coach Pop earlier in the week when talking about the always calm Kawhi Leonard.

On Friday night, Leonard knocked down a game-winner against the Wizards and din’t do any chest bumping, shoulder wiggling and camera staring; He just did a light pump fist like MJ and Kobe used to do and then exchanged some high-fives with his teammates.

The game-winner gave Leonard 23 points for the game and his 17th 20-point game in 20 games – the most by a Spurs player since David Robinson in 1994.
