Kawhi Leonard won the individual statistic battle against Kevin Durant on Wednesday night but a rusty KD still scored 22 and hit 2 clutch free throws to give OKC a 112-106 victory over the Spurs.
“It felt good, man,” said Durant who missed most of last season with a broken foot. “I had some in-and-out looks tonight. My looks felt great, and to hit that one was big for our team.”
Leonard scored a career-high 32 points on 13 of 22 shooting and also had 8 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocks – including 1 nasty one on KD.
