Kenneth Faried was carried off on a stretcher and taken to a hospital after suffering a neck injury in the final seconds of overtime during the Nuggets loss to the Warriors on Saturday.
The injury occurred after he was pushed by Mo Speights into Will Barton who was coming down on a jump.
“Obviously, any time you’re dealing with a neck or back, it’s scary,”Jameer Nelson said. “I didn’t see the play. We were playing. There are no dirty guys out there. Nobody did anything intentional. Hopefully he’s good.”
According to Marc J. Spears, Faried told medical personnel he felt better once he was placed on backboard & had feeling in hands & feet.
