111-109.  Game winner with 1.5 seconds.  8th straight win. 41 points on 15  of 25 shooting.  11th straight game with 30+ points.  5th 40+ point game this month and 6th of the season.

Durant’s 3o point streak gives him a 37 ppg average for January and ties the streak by Shaq and Jordan and trails only Kobe (16) and T-Mac (14) but KD is the first since Shaq to do it while shooting 54% or better.

So how do you like them apples?

“I know we play a lot of games and a lot of people say January doesn’t mean anything,” Durant said. “But when you’re playing this game with your heart and passion like we do, sometimes you’ve got to sit back and just enjoy it.”

“There’s nothing more to say,” Brooks said. “He’s a special player. He’s going to be an MVP candidate until he decides to retire. He’s an amazing teammate, which I’m as proud of that, as he is as a player. He cares about the game. He cares about his team. He cares about Oklahoma City. He’s just a great ambassador, not only to our team but the league and to the basketball world.”
