During the 2nd quarter of the Heat’s win over the Thunder on Thursday, things got a little heated when Kevin Durant thought Goran Dragic undercut him on a failed alley-oop play and got in the face of the Miami point guard.
“I didn’t even bump him, I just went back,” Dragic said of the play. “The pass was way off and he landed out of bounds. I didn’t say nothing. Just tried to stay in my head and play my game.”
When asked what Durant said to him, Dragic replied: “I don’t know. I didn’t even listen, if I’m honest. Everything was so quick and there was a lot of players around.”
Durant made light of the play during a postgame interview.
“I thought he did (undercut me). But I was just trying to add a little flair to the game.”
As mean as it was for KD to get into Dragic’s face, that’s nothing compared to what he did in the face of Chris Bosh.
