Kevin Durant outscored the Spurs 17-16 in the 4th quarter of GM4 to tie series at 2 a piece. The 4 x scoring champ had 29 on 10 of 13 shooting in the 2nd half and finished the game with 41, tying his playoff career-high in points. The Mother’s Day performance was so exceptional, even Coach Pop gave him props after the game.

“You’ve got to give him credit. He was great. He was great. I don’t know what else to say. He was fantastic.”

THE REAL MVP

Speaking of Mother’s Day and KD, his memorable MVP speech from 2 seasons ago inspired a made-for-TV biopic called “The Real MVP: The Wanda Durant Story,” which debuted on this night.
