How fun is a LA finals at Staples without the Black Mamba?
Kobe Bryant, sporting a post-retirement beard, attended Game 4 of the WNBA Finals with his pregnant wife and two daughters (who else feels really damn old seeing how big they are now?). The Bryant family were hoping to see the LA Sparks win their first title since 2002 (a great year for Lakers fans too). What they ended up getting was a got was a 79-85 loss courtesy of Maya Moore and her Mamba-worthy performance of 31 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and a bunch of big shots.
The two teams will face off in a do-or-die game 5 in Minny on Thursday. Maybe recently retired Kevin Garnett can make a cameo there to see if he’s a better good luck charm.
